Faly sick HELP.

Canny Chams

New Member
Hi, i just noticed like a second ago, my faly has his eyes closed, i picked him up, he seemed weak, his eyes were closed, and he just seemed lethargic, im gonna bring him to the vet tomorow, but i need some quick help since they arent open till 1pm. All my camera and equipement is packed up so i cant take any photos, last week i noticed when he was on a branch he was kind of resting his belly on it, but he didnt seem this weak. HELP

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - Nosy Faly Panther chameleon, male, 7.5 monthes old, i have had him for almost 6 monthes
Handling - 1 time a week for about half an hour max
Feeding - im feeding him about a dozen to a dozen and a half crickets per day, i fed him super worms for the first time a couple days ago
Supplements - repashy calcium plus daily
Watering - mistking goes off every 4 hours for 45 seconds, he doesnt let me watch him drink so ive never seen him drink
Fecal Description - looks regular, have not tested this specific chameleon for parasites
History - not much
Cage Info: reptibreeze small was going to move him into a bigger cage tomorow, has a large pothos in it
Cage Type - screen, 16, 16, 24
Lighting - zoomed 5.0 UV is about 5 monthes old and is on 14 hours per day
Temperature - basking spot is 90 degrees, ambient temp is about 73, night temp is 67, i used to have a 25watt ceramic heat emmitter for night time but it burnt out a week or two ago
Humidity - gets as low as 30% between mistings, during misting gets up to 75%
Plants - pothos
Placement - its near an air vent that lets out heat, (so dry air) its about 2 feet off the ground.
Location - Toronto Canada

Is the night temperature 67F since the heat emitter blew out or before that happened?
Does the mister go off all night too?

I don't know what to tell you, nothing jumps out at me as super severe. I'm sorry he's suddenly not doing well.

Check his mouth, see if you can't see if he's brewing an infection. Check for excess saliva, bubbles, etc.

What have you been gutloading with?

I don't know what advice to give you for tonight, except maybe keep him warm. If he has an infection or he's fighting something, keeping him warm may help his metabolism fight it off better. Is there any way you can keep him closer to 75-ish tonight without an actual light?

I would not keep running the mister 24/7 like that. I would cut that off when your chameleon is sleeping.

he wont eat, but i gave him water through a oral syringe, and he kinda drank it, his eyes were still closed

got some photos with my ipod

this isnt good, both of my mitsios are showing similar simtoms. Im taking the rest of my chams into a different room, im trying to find vets that are open right now, do you think waiting till tomorow will make a big different

man dan this sucks, i wish there was something i could tell ya..
you say the others are acting weird now too??
what time do your lights go out? do they seem to be moving to their regualr sleeping spots?

RI, whats RI. the mouth was open so i could look inside regularly it wasnt i was tapping with nose so i could give him water and he held it open for alittle while, like a minute. Whats RI

your care looks the same as mine, the only things i do diff, are no mistings at night and my lights are cut back to about 10hrs a day now for winter hours.

yup regular sleeping spots, cheech and my faly have a leg just kinda hanging now. holy hell this is bad, i only have like 150 on my vet budget left, since i spent like 200 on a case of cocidia last month, lights go out at nine and on AT 7
