Fed right before lights out?

Usually my 4 month old, Jackson Chameleon eats a bit after noon, maybe around 3 or 4. But today he ate right before going to sleep. Is this okay for him to sleep right after eating? I might leave the light on just for an extra hour or so to help with the digestion.

mine did the same last night. then again yours is only 4 months old...

from what i've read... as long as they get the proper UVB needed to digest it shouldn't matter. (in the wild they eat when the opportunity presents itself right??)

I've seen a similar post here recently, and what was mentioned is that as long as they get thay're lighting throughout the day, they will digest as needed. ppl were talking about feeding in mornings and early afternoon mostly, but some mentioned that they feed at later times.

dont go off what i say since IM NO EXPERT. but hopefully this helps you some while the others take thay're time to reply.

You will be fine.

1. They know what is best for them.

2. Their digestion is a long process. 1 hour of extra light would serve no purpose.

Mine eat when they are hungry. Sometimes it is right when lights come on, sometimes at the end of the day.

No issues.

Mine have eaten late on many occasions as well with no obvious issues. Does anyone know how long their digestion process takes? If it takes longer than a day anyway, then it seems like this wouldn't make as much of a difference.
