thats a really good way to do it. i actually use bird seed holders. they have cup ones that are designed to keep the birds from slinging the seed out of their cage and they work great for keeping (non jumping) bugs in lol :)

I use the little aquarium bowl for bettas.... and the crickets wont go anywhere... put some reptocal and a food source (a bit of carrot) so they wont die........ put it the way your cham can get them, near to a branch (sorry for the english) hablo español lol....

i free range my crickets in the cage and have a little cave at the bottom i put food in. but since you use a cup i would simply use a powder form of food. or perhaps depending on how big and what shape the cup is you could put a small container/cave type thing in it to cover the food from the cham but that the crix can still get

That was from Fluker's orange cubes not a carrot.

i know. but carrot and the cubes have very similar consistencies. and i didnt say he had to stop or anything. just be careful. like the guy said his cham could have aimed for a cricket and got that instead. same could happen with carrot. carrots may be perfectly safe but personally i wouldnt chance it. shredded carrot perhaps. but i would ask sandrachameleon if they are safe for cham consumption

They don't have similar consistencies. A carrot is solid and the orange cubes are like Jello. The problem with the orange cubes is that they expand with moisture so the small piece the cham ate expanded until it blocked the intestine. A small piece of carrot would not do this.

For me and my chams the best way to make a feeder cup is not to make one I want my guys to hunt for their food .good exercise.
