Well after I fed IZ his first meal worm he no longer wants to eat crickets so I thought it would be time to order some hornworms from mullberry. when I was on there sight I saw repti worms and read about them and they sound to good to be true but I do not here a lot about them on here. What is your opinion on them if you have tried to use them? They say no gut loading is necessary and that would be awesome! Just want to et some opinions before I order some

repti worms (fly maggots) are pretty small. They're no good as a staple.
I like butterworms over reptiworms / calci worms / fly maggots

Anyways You NEED and WANT to have at least one thing that IS gutloadable.

he'll eat crickets again when he gets hungry (so long as you arent giving him other choices)

Reptiworms are fine fed regularly. Make sure your chameleon chews them though! If the skin isn't broken they might come back out whole.

I don't think you should have a 'staple.' Variety is best. Mine go crazy for crickets whenever I feed them. They eat silkworms, hornworms, dubia roaches, latteralis roaches, butterflies, flies, and crickets the most. Supers are sometimes used more in one month than others. It just depends on what I have at the moment. I always have 3-5 feeders on hand though.

If you want a good staple other than crickets, i think dubias are the way to go, if you can get yourself a colony of these goin then you will probably never have to buy crickets ever again haha I just started mine and cant wait. As Kara listed theres alot of feeders out there but some shouldnt be used as staple. i would try the reptiworms and see how he likes them but just dont feed too many too often.
