Ok, thanks for all the help!Usually it depends on how much they eat, mine are dormant now cause of low humidity, but if I start misting more they get more active

Would a decent size clear Rubbermaid container work?Just a note they do need light so get a clear container and they are stronger than they look and can push lids open if they don't latch a little.
Yes, that's what I'm using just make sure the lid clicks or it's slime trails hide & seek.Would a decent size clear Rubbermaid container work?
Lol ok, thanks!Yes, that's what I'm using just make sure the lid clicks or it's slime trails hide & seek.
How deep of a layer of soil do you provide? And do you put in a small water dish or just veggies?Yes, that's what I'm using just make sure the lid clicks or it's slime trails hide & seek.
About how deep they lay their eggs and how do you dig them up and move them into a new bin? I've read they are fragile. Do you bury them at the same depth you dug them up at I'm assuming?I use about 4 inches of soil, a water dish full of small river stones with the stones above the water mark for the adults only. They are dumb enough to drown if they fall in.
The restaurant business expects you to cook them so I don't know how concerned they are about parasites. I expect the adults will be too large to feed but if you separate the eggs before hatching and raise the young separately you can avoid parasites.
Just curious did you have any problems with parasites from the snails on eBay from Greece? Or did you seperate the eggs just in case?Mine came from Greece, that's what I worried about to but they arrived in about 9 days and no DOA & packed very good! Mine are kinda dormant now, and I should mist them more so they get active ! Once you get them going they lay eggs like crazy!
