Feeding fruit/veg's directly?

I know the preferred method is gut loading but has anyone been advised to feed things like banana, dandelion, and kale directly to their cham?

I feed veggies and fruits to my chams weekly. Veileds love fruit and veggies and I've even had a few panthers that like it.

I've never had a panther take anything. But have had adult Veils eat blueberries, strawberries, and small apple slices. They eat for the moisture content, and not necessarily for the fruit itself.

I have only tried banana so far and he enjoys it. I just have to mash it and practically spoon feed it so he can 'bite' on it.

I use more veggies that fruits since fruits are sweet. I use all kinds of greens such as kale, dandelion, mustard and collards. They also like shredded carrot. They love strawberries and will also eat banana, apple, blueberries, and most melons. Just make sure to feed small slivers so they don't choke.
