Feeding hawk moths

Hi I hope some one can help me out here. I had hawk moths emerge today, 2 so far out 7. And I honestly wasn't expecting them to with the luck I've been having lately. So I'm unprepared and don't have a hummingbird feeder or food. I went out to find one and no such luck. My bf will get me one tomorrow from a specialty bird store. But until then, I've prepared a 1/5 sugar water mix and put it in a shallow deli cup with holes in the lid. I can get pics of my set up if need be.

Will this last them the night through tomorrow afternoon? Would it help to make sure there's light on all night so they sleep? Did I make the SW correctly?

Thanks

I guess I always ask the hard questions haha but I'm happy to report they made it through the night. I think keeping the light on helped. There was a third moth when I came home today. They are happy buzzing around the hummingbird feeder. So neat:)

So they pupated(7) nov 9 and started emerging dec 17. They were kept at room temperature, 76F. No lamp on the worms or pupas, just a basking lamp on one of the terrariums in the room and occasionally I left the ceiling light on all day, 12-14 hours.

I have another dozen that pupated nov 22, hopefully I'll be busy raising a bunch of hornworms!
