I have around a 7-8 month old, female, veiled chameleon that I named Karma. I purchased her at my work, PetSmart, around a month or so ago. She was fed crickets daily and mealworms throughout the week but they were kept in a bowl for her to feed on when she wanted.
I continued the same feeding schedule once I purchased her, but now she prefers super worms, giant mealworms, and wax worms over the crickets. She's made crickets her last resort food and will actually starve herself than eat them until I put worms in her mealworm feeder then she runs over to the bowl and eats as if she hasn't eaten in days.
I started putting less in the bowl daily since its all she wants to eat. I have roman lettuce in the terrarium as well and she nips on it every now and then.
Is there anything else besides the worms that I can give her to replace the crickets?
