Hi as some of u know my 3 month old cham has been pretty sick and dehydrated.I been showering him everyday and he has been drinking alot more but he hasnt been eating much. He ate about 4 crickets yesterday. I didnt see him eat any today so i went out and got some small mealworms. He ate at least one. Is it ok to feed them mealworms at 3 months? I hope he gets his appetite back soon. I really dont want to see him die on me. Im doing everything i can. But he still sleeps alot during the day. any help is appreciated. Thanks

Hi,
I remember reading your previous post, sad to see your cham is still sick!
I would recommend trying to feed him silkworms, they are a good source of calcium and are excellent feeder for rehydrating your cham.
My little guy can't resist them when he sees them raising up and walking along his vines, so this action may trigger a feeding response for your guy!
Good luck i hope it all goes well, i'm sure you'll get some more good advice soon...:)
Cheers
Scott.

BTW, too many mealworms can cause impaction in young animals, although a few here and there won't be a problem, just don't make them his only feed source.

ok thanks i will get some silk worms tomorrow. Do they come in certain sizes? cause my chams pretty small still.

ok thanks im gonna try and find some small ones in a store by me but will order some overnight if i cant. I hope this guy starts eating or it will really suk. i've only had him 2 weeks today.
