feeding technique

I was curious how do you guys with tiny flightless flies feed them to your cham its so hard to get them out of the culture and then get them into the cage with out them jumping to the bottom and getting lost in the soil or something

I just take off the lid or maybe half way off and shake a few in. I did not have soil in the bottom just paper towels. I fed them to my baby veileds.

I've fed them to pygmies (where I did have substrate) and, as Jannb said, would just shake a few into the cage. They'd climb about on the plants and the chams didn't seem to have any trouble finding them.
