Feeding times?

ps, sorry i sexed your cham without even knowing if its a boy or girl. when i think of cup feeding, i think of my little girl because her enclosure is a bit too big for her to sufficently hunt. lol

I think it is a he! Lol! I have him in a 16x16x30 cage, and the crickets climb to the top near the heat, while he hangs out lower down, basking. Maybe he can't see them in free range?!

they can see pretty good. honestly if its drinking & doesnt seem interested in food today, maybe just give as much privacy as possible & try again tomorrow. when i i got my adult male panther, i was getting scared cuz he wasnt intersted in food for a while. i just let him do his thing & as soon as he snagged the first one he became a serious pig within seconds. id even consider covering the enclosure with a sheet for a day. if it takes any more than another day or 2, id seek advice froma more experienced keeper on here. theres a lot of great advice & keeper floating around on this forum. just keep reading even if your not in the mood to post.

Thanks! He is our computer room, which is really quiet and has low traffic! I put crickets in his cup this morning, so we will see if he eats any! If not I will skip a day of trying to feed.

maybe dont skip a day entirely. just try once, maybe twice later in the day. just dont bombard, youll be fine. the feeders are a reasonable size, ya?

Did not eat today either! :(
Just a thought, how old is your baby? Is it possible he/she is about to shed? My little one stopped eating for a couple of days before shedding his skin which I read somewhere was usual ( in one of the many cham books I've bought:) ). Might be an idea to try small locust as an alternative, mine loves them free range as something different to his black crickets:D
