i dont think i can help you vary much but whats the matter?hi my name id sue I have a chameleon that's not too well I hope you can help
Even 10-15 every other day? That what the OP is doing. It was my understanding that you don't reduce the amount until after a year, up until then let them eat how much they want. I'm not contradicting you, I'm seriously asking.Your veiled eating 10-15 large crickets is a little much, once they get older you don't need to feed as much or they start getting over weight which could lead to other health issues. He may also start getting picky and going on food strikes
i gut load the crickets with veggies everyday and i feed him every other day i will start giving him less vary slowly. i just found out that he likes bananas yesterday so im going to be adding that one to the list of crickets and hornwormsYep, that my opinion. I hope you vary his feeers too. Make sure you gut load them well. Once he's a year then I would definitely do feeding every other day or just a couple everyday.
The guidelines are made as a general rule of thumb, something to follow but you have to learn to read your chameleon. They are all different, if your Cham is eating well, it's a good sign of health, just try to regulate it to avoid future issues.
Imagine he's eating all that and then you cut his food in half once he's a year, that would be a little rude, he'll be fine.
