hi, im a new veiled chameleon owner and i was wondering what to do when she has eggs???? what type of incubator should i get. were can i get it? how much? she is about a month or so old im really worried.... thanks:)

She is a month old? I wouldnt worry about eggs right now... I would get a laying bin and put it in the cage with her... Are you planning on putting her with a male?

EDIT-- Fill this out Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care?
Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders?
Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule?
Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking?
Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites?
History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity?
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor?
Location - Where are you geographically located?

Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about.

She is way to young to be gravid you still have a long time to wait. Also if you are not breeding her, her eggs will not be fertile(No babies). So no need for an incubator.

i dont plan on mating her but i she going to have eggs anyway???

She can develop eggs without a male, they will be infertile. Usually around 6 months old you want to put a laying bin in with her. She is only 1 month old, so you don't need to worry about eggs for a while yet. Read the info in the link I posted earlier, it will help you alot for the future.

I guess anything is possible. :)

It's just like birds, you aren't routinely eating fertilized chicken eggs, you know.

I would recommend getting a laying bin in the cage well before eggs are likely. Otherwise it's one more new thing for her to deal with. You probably don't need to worry about keeping it moist until she gets close.

You can use just about any container that meets the measurements for her laying bin.

Gary's explanation in the thread linked by Bridge of Faith is excellent. Follow that and you'll be fine.

There are ways to inhibit egg production in non-mating females. Brad Ramsey, who is a moderator here, has an excellent site that will give you loads of helpful information. He discusses how to control the production of unnecessary eggs.

Eliza said..."He discusses how to control the production of unnecessary eggs"...actually its me who wrote about it....been doing it with veileds for years.

I'm sorry...I thought that was his blog.

I'll remember that in the future.

It's important information, regardless of whom it comes from.

And thanks again Lynda for writing it.
It continues to be a good resource for people who are keeping female veiled chameleons.
I was actually never successful at controlling egg production in veiled chameleons.

Glad I could write the article for you!

I know that some people still can't control them...I think maybe everything has to be the same exactly as what I do....so say some people give them preformed vitamin A and I don't for instance, it might make enough difference.
