Hey guys, new to the Chameleon world. I have a 1yr old female nosy be. i had just bred her and she laid 27 eggs for me last week. since she laid, (atleast thats when i noticed) she has had these weird lumps coming from behind both of her front legs. its not getting bigger or smaller. only noticable when shes moving. its the same color of the skin, it looks like. i have another 1yr old nosy be female that also just laid eggs and she doesnt have anything like this. She is/has been/ and looks to be as healthy as they can be, other than the lumps. if anyone can provide me with any kind of information, i would be beyond grateful. i just want to know that its nothing serious. thanks guys!

Common problem called gular edema. I don't know too much about this condition other than it can be somewhat random and hard to remedy. I had a female that had this issue and she lived a full life, so I am not sure how it impacts the well being of the animal. Others might be able to provide more advice and direction :)

Agreed, gular edema. Luke even had the puffy chest that sometimes also occurs. Sometimes it will flare up after eating and gradually subside. Like Para said many chams can live full and happy life. Some show signs all the time, some not. Most experts are quite sure why it happens. I tried somethings that others had did, and I haven't seen it come back what so ever since I changed brands of calcium. Below is the link I posted in. Some in this link where talking about the water they're using. Now that I think about it, I now am only misting and dripping w/ filtered water. Hhhmmm?

BTW, keep an eye on her. Keep watch on her weight and eating habbits. sometimes their known to lay a second clutch. Congrats.
