Sick panther chamelon

Hey, so my panther chameleon is already 3 and a half years old, I’ve had him since he was a baby, when he was around a year old he started hanging one of his front legs and showed signs of gout disease, with the help of this forum I took him to a vet that said it wasnt gout disease, with some blood work he noticed he had more protein than he should on his blood, gave me recommendations on gutloading and with that he got better, his swelling on his leg was on and off from time to time, now this last time the same leg got swollen but doesnt seem to get any better, with better hydration and same food changes, sometimes he seems in a good mood and hunts the crickets that are loose on his enclosure but most of the times he just looks sad and doesnt move ( he falls a lot ) When i pick him I always use my fingers to see how much strenght he has on his legs and his back legs are good but now the other front leg is losing strenght, I dont really see that its getting swollen but I can feel the difference on the strenght, I really dont have a lot of money to keep taking him to a vet, Im just having a hard time deciding if its time to take him for euthanasia, this post is just to make sure that it is time for that and that im not making a mistake, so if you guys could read the story and give your opinion it would be very helpful to make the final decision
