I have a female veiled chameleon about two and a half years old she's a had a clutch before about 30 eggs on fertilized it's been about a year maybe a year and a half since she had her clutch and almost appears as though she has somewhat of a clutch but I'm not positive she does eat a lot but I don't know if she's egg down or not cuz it's been a while since it seemed like she's had eggs they look like a little like eggs like behind her back legs when she's holding on like almost where her kidneys would be or something I need some help from somebody also I need to know what plants would be good for the tank cuz I don't have any plants in there and I know she needs some plants that maybe why she's not laying I changed the tank around since the last clutch so I don't think she likes this one I need to know what plants are good is a Adiantum capillus-veneris ok? Please help me ill post pictures soon

Hi there, and welcome on here! Could you post more pics of her from other angles, full body, too? If you could post a cage pic, lights to bottom, I’d appreciate it, too! A maidenhair fern is cham safe, I’m not sure if it’s veiled-tested though (proven safe for veileds if/when they eat it). I’d stick to veiled tested plants from this link (and chart from this link):

Heres pics of chameleon sleeping I have coconut fiber substrate and play sand cuz I thought she was going to need to have a clutch and so I just made it tall and deep so she can do her thing like she has before but she never did I don't think I'm pretty sure and I don't know if she needs to lay them I don't know if she may just be obese because she eats a lot of crickets I'm not too sure but the lights I have or a daytime heat lamp a night time heat lamp and then a ceramic that goes on at night with the heat lamp cuz it gets kind of cold at night and then and the daytime I have the big UV light and the daytime bulb it's 110 watt I think yeah and then the night time bulb is a 70 W and the ceramic heater it gets about I'd say like between 70 and 75 at night maybe a little bit closer to 70 and then during the day it gets anywhere from like 80 to 86 and I have a fog machine and I spray and I also have a misting machine and there's a water fountain in the back for her to drink out of two it's a chameleon water fountain

You should take your girl to an experienced chameleon vet for x-rays to get a better view of things.

Also, hearing this sucks, and I’m sorry for that, but there is a lot of things wrong with her set up.
I have a few questions on her care and some remarks on things you can change quickly once the questions are answered. I’ve also linked the Chameleon Academy’s website and their veiled care webpage, too. They have the most accurate and up-to-date care, though some things are wrong (feeding amount, humidity can go down to 30%, and female veileds’ basking temps should be 78-80*F). Reading through the modules and care sheet will help explain everything the best!
https://chameleonacademy.com/chameleon-husbandry-program-getting-started-with-chameleons/
https://chameleonacademy.com/veiled-chameleon-care/

What are your nighttime temps? Is your fogger cool mist or warm mist?
How deep is her substrate? Can it hold a tunnel?
What type of uvb fixture do you have (T8 or T5HO), and what brand and strength of uvb bulb do you have (along with how old the bulb is)?
How far away are all of the fixtures away from her basking branch?
What is the basking temperature, and how and where do you measure it?
Could you post some pics showing her casque and top of her back, please?

Below this I’ve posted a husbandry sheet, it’d be great if you could fill it out in as much detail as possible!
Just copy and paste it then fill it in. I know this is a lot, but the more you share, the more we can help! Whatever you don’t understand or just want to know more of, ask away! There’s no stupid questions, we’re here to help!
