Female Veiled Egg Questions

I read the raising Kitty web site and know what i have to do to prevent my female from cycling eggs.

What i have a question on is when should i cut back on her food?


Right now she is eating about 12 a day!

My girl is more or less 5 months old and i know egg production is right around the corner.

Its hard at this age. The idea is to feed her enough that she can keep growing but you don't want to overfeed her. At about that age I start feeding them every second day.

i feed her a good 10 crickets every day. she seems to be hungry and eats them right away

Veiled females are known for being pigs! I feed my 3 ladies 3 crickets and a silkie or super every day. I just can't bring myself to not feed them every day. :-( Besides, they sit there on there feeding branch looking at me with a cocked head.
