Hi everyone with my little one growing up I’m curious to see her big girl colors. I was wondering if other people with female veileds could post theirs! How do you know when they get their big girl colors?

Blues and golds are big girl colors. You'll start seeing the teal scales and then some gold scales. Here is my 2 year old, Spring.

She started getting the teals around 6 months, and the golds came a little after, and she was laying eggs around 9 months.
Every clutch she has she gets darker green with brighter golds while gravid. It's pretty cool to watch them grow and mature.

I’m very excited honestly. Mine just started coming out onto my arm by herself I thought I’d never get to that point it was a lot of patience. But now she is 5 months almost. This is a picture of her, we named her Mercedes lol

Beautiful little lady! One of my girls has similar beautiful dark markings, but when she gets irritated when I hold her, they brighten way up into fantastic colors. Here’s my lovely Stella.

What an unusual pattern!

My female was receptive around 6 months. But she was not super vibrant like the girls above. She was climbing all over and very restless back in October.

This is what she looks like now. At 8 months, no eggs.

When I got her she was already estimated to be 8-9 months old, and she didn't start showing bits of her big girl colors for another 3-4 months after that, so I'd guess she was a little over a year old at that point?
