Female veiled showing weird behavior

Hello,

I have a female veiled that I bought as a newborn baby in early August of 2017 as. Since til about October of 2017 she would eat like a pig and grew a ton. I live in northeast Ohio so as soon as winter hit and the temps drop her activity certainly decreased and she started to eat much less. I have her in a 18x18x36” reptibreeze with a reptisun T5 UVB fixture with a 5.0 bulb. I have a duel doble some fixture with 2 100W heat bulbs for basking. I have an automatic mister that runs for 30 minutes twice a day plus supplemental misting when I can. She has plenty of foliage and branches to climb on. My main concern however is her activity level lately. In the past week, she barely moved on her top perch under the UVB light. I don’t think she is gravid cuz of her bright green color but is otherwise showing signs that she is. I have a 12” diameter flower plot that is filled with moist top soil. About a three weeks ago I would see her crawling on the bottom of the cage looking for a place to lay, which has about 0.5” of ecoearth. She is barely accepting food anymore but is otherwise showing signs of being healthy. Another concern that I have is the ambient temperature in the room she is in. It’s in my bedroom on the top floor of a two story house so it’s not always super warm in the room. Let me know what you guys think is wrong and if I should take here to the vet for a checkup. I know of a very good exotic animal vet near me so if need be I will take her to him. Thanks guys for you time!

I attached some photos of her enclosure, her and the laybin

If she saw you around the laybin, she may have decided that it was not a safe place to lay her eggs. I think you should take her to the veterinarian either way because its better to be safe than sorry. That laybin seems sufficient, but she may prefer something else, you never know. She is definitely showing signs of gravidity. Hopefully all goes well.

You might try moving the lay bin to the other side of the enclosure and temporally block the view with a sheet. She will not see anything and may feel safe to lay. Just a thought. Worked with one of my females who would not lay.
