Female won't lay eggs?

My female Blue Ambilobe Panther mated with my male a little over a month ago and she hasn't laid eggs. This is'nt the first time it has happen. I've never seen her lay eggs or dig, but she has to be atleast over a year old. The first time she mated she darkened as if she was pregnant, but a little over 2 months later she turned a britch peach color again and accepted the male to mate (without ever laying eggs). Is there something wrong with her? Or could my male be infertile?

Sometime the female can absorb the eggs, but it's been my experience that this is rather rare. Weird indeed if it were to happen twice.

All females should have a lay bin. Even with an infertile male, she would still drop eggs. She's either laying eggs and your not finding them, or she has a problem with her ovaries.

Would a trip to the vet be advised? If so how much do these visits cost normally?

How do you mean she absorb them? like she absorbed them for nutrients or they kinda formed together?

One of the female panthers absorbed her eggs. She was still recovering from being sick/under weight/moving from home to home though. I also had a female take over 50 days to lay from becoming gravid.

Yes her body will absorb them, but like I said this is rare and like Chamel619 said she should have a laying ben in there if she don't already have one. A vet visit would be a good idea in my opinion if she isn't laying eggs. You don't want her getting egg bound, and only a vet with x-rays can be fore sure what's going on. The price for the vet varies greatly depending on what has to be done, and who your vet is. Good luck

Are you sure she didn't lay the eggs somewhere the first time?
If the female is with a male she would likely produce eggs even if be were infertile I think.
