I'm sure a moderator can move it for you.

Awe just look at how much happier she looks!!!!! Good work and thank you for choosing to save this girl!!!! Tell us all about how she is now... personality and health. :)

I commend you for taking her in. I cannot remember the circumstances, but where did you get her from? I just will never understand how someine can treat an animal like that. Although, it was most likely someone who was uneducated about chameleons, you still would have to know something is not right here! I hope you can get her to a point where she can move around and lead a decent life. She looks like a sweet cham.

here you go carol :) https://www.chameleonforums.com/mbd-chameleon-first-time-owner-71576/ i remember him he was so good with her.

Just had to refresh my memory on her story and got through reading your original thread. I have to say I think I am more outraged after reading it a second time. The neglect and disregard for this poor little girl from the original owners is just heartbreaking and maddening at the same time. I hope these two idiots are done owning chameleons. Again, my hats off to you and for what you are doing for her. Thank you for not givinig up!!

Thanks everyone!

I work at a petstore and a guy brought her in for us to "fix up" for him, and I just sort of... bought her because the guy was a complete tool.

Health wise she is doing great. I hope that she continues to improve, but I see her getting stronger everyday. Her back legs are starting to get all muscular, so I feel like they will continue to get strong enough to hold herself up. She is walking around a lot, but she frequently takes breaks and lays down like she is in the pictures. She can stand and walk as well which is honestly the best thing that I've ever seen. Her front arms are still very bowed, and she has a hard time climbing sometimes, but she is adapting and that's all that matters.

Her personality is hilarious. She honestly has more of it than any other cham that I have been around. Some days when she doesn't want anything to do with me, she will hiss, but then go back to whatever she was doing and gladly accept any food or water that I give her. Most of the time she is a very sweet and adorable little girl. She loves watching TV, and she usually sits on the sofa with me watching The Office for hours. She has both eyes on it and everything, it's adorable. I think that we have developed a strong bond, and I know that everyone says that chams don't bond with people, but she is so dependent on me that she has come to like and recognize me. She walks onto my hand whenever I put it near her in her cage. If she is tired of sitting next to me on the couch she will climb up my shirt and lay across my chest and watch me or the TV. She is the best :)

Glad to hear that she's improving and has great personality!

Food for thought...if you have her out of the cage for long is she getting enough UVB to be able to use the calcium?

At most she is only out of her cage for about two or three hours a day, but it's usually only an hour. It just depends on how fast she will eat or drink for me. I didn't mean to make it sound like she spends no time in her cage at all :/
