Would love to see a picture of his enclosure. Is there any plants or green in it? My cham would never sleep out in the open like that.
Its not so much the vines and perching places that are lacking, it is the foliage.... he probably feels very exposed, which might be why he is displaying stress colours in the photos.
You need to have lots of places for him to hide all over his cage.
Here's a photo of my set up - not saying that this is perfect by any means but you could do with having at least 85% of the space in your cage taken up with plants etc.

Just to add as well, is his basking branch close enough to your heat source? There doesn't seem to be any branches or vines near the top of the enclosure, so that he can sit under the heat and warm up? Might explain why he is in the corner, he may be trying to reach the heat.
Yes, he had multiple basking spots. Those main branches get between 85-88 and then there is a lower that stays low 80s. Depending on his mood he will move between the two spots. Thanks for the advice.
