My new beardies are home (finally got a pair after my old boy passed on some years ago).

Funny enough I hate cliche nerd names but the moment I held her Zelda it was.
A nice coincidence because her Z I got in this last summer randomly for my desk at a thrift store.
So of course her brother had to be named Link. (And yes in 3 months they will be separated. I don't need inbreeding or a ton of ravenous beardie babies anytime soon!)
The cage is a bit sparse which I will fix and update here. Their rock hasn't come yet and I held off on their sand mat until next paycheck. Needs a backdrop too. Ew to that wall.
The little Link has already found his place, on the food bowl gobbling up the food while his sister explores. He is a piggy and I'm glad he is happy enough that 15 minutes into his new home he already feels comfortable enough to eat.
They have a ceramic deep bulb and their UV bulb which I will place on a holder to make the cage itself brighter.
They are doing superworms and dubia roaches. I'll do the roaches tomorrow and get them a treat soon along with some cilantro and basil.
So glad to have them home finally. (And they are in a 40 gal now)
