well my cresties took a while to get breeding and when they did i had 3 clutches of infertiles and now shes had 6 clutches all together, the first good clutch i didnt write down the lay date so theyve been growing and growing without me knowing how many days its been
just over a week ago something made a mark on the top of the egg something hardish sticked out off the egg, i didnt know what it was as it would be where its head would have been, every morning i would check but nothing, then about 5 days ago i checked and there was some of the egg stuff leaking out the whole only a small drop so thought nothing off it and every morning since thats what i had to look at, tonight i went into the incubator and saw it again and touched the hard thing to see if its changed at all but no, put the lid back on and aloud triple the amount usually there of the egg contents came out, so i spoke to a mate who breeds them and she said personally she'd cut the egg open and see if theres anything in there dead or alive
so away i went with the egg and carefully cut it starting from the hard thing, and i felt a few kicks and was alot of wriggling, after about 30seconds of small cutting and lots of wriggling, My first baby cresty was out :flrt: his a real fighter and ill probally end up keeping him for the struggle we've been through
managed to get a quick picture of him
his now in his setup settling down for the night and getting over the shock
