I am looking for suggestions on how to give my 2.5 year old male veiled cham a new home. Changes in my living situation have forced me to find a new home. I do not want it to go somewhere that might neglect him like Petco. The same fears make me hesitant to post it on Craigslist. I would post it here for free in the classifieds, but I do not have the credentials. Any help is appreciated!

Where are you located? I'd love to take him. I have an aggressive female so I don't mind that he's not friendly. I wouldn't be trying to breed or anything. I can offer him an excellent home and would be happy to upload pictures of my setup.

I live in the San Fransisco bay area. Local pickup would be preferred.

If you have to ship your cham use Ship your Reptiles. They are a site sponsor and you can find them in the sponsor list. I have not shipped and reptiles but I have read good things about them, and I believe many breeders use them for shipping their animals.

I wouldn't turn it into a reptile shop. Their goal is to turn a profit and they're less likely to make sure it goes to a good home
The reptile store near my town is really good with caring for their animals. They aren't like pet co. If you want to try it go to LLLreptile.com and you can check them out and possibly contact them about helping you out. They may even be able to help you find an expert who can take care of your chameleon.

I know there are reptile stores in the bay area. Does anyone have experience with them? I know in the end they just want profit, but I will take any suggestions.
