What do you guys and girls think? Next pay check, i will be buying more vines and sticks she can climb. Inside i have a 3 foot tall artificial palm tree, with other artificial vines that hang. I will also be buying some live plants to help with humidity .She also has a long bendable branch that goes from her basking spot down to the base of the palm tree. She seems to be happy now basking in her new home.

please let me know what you think, and if you recommend anything. For a week, i had her in a 10 gallon glass tank so this is much better for her. Again i built this enclosure with pvc pipe, window screen, and lots of love for under 40 dollars.

Looks good. Is that light a UV or heat light?

Thank you, its a exo terra solar glo (UVA, UVB, and basking all in one). I know some people are against these, but so far she seems ok with the distance and temperatures it gives off.Im debating on moving it up a bit but for the past hour, my girl seems to love the temps at her basking spot. As of now it is 10 inches away from her highest spot. What would you suggest?

looks good!!! for sure add a few more horizontal pathways for her, she'll love it even more!!!!!!
i don't see a misting system, how are you hydrating her, hand misting?

Looks very nice! Just be careful your girl can't cut herself on the ends of the tie wraps. (I would have the cut ends on the exterior of the enclosure) It should look awesome with added vines!

I made sure to turn the ends outward for that exact reason. Thanks, glad people have liked it. Its rewarding having build her enclosure myself.

That looks better than my house, now all I need to do is shrink my self to chameleon size and move in. All joking aside it looks great:D

Thank you .lol that was my exact thought, a small childs imagination would be endless if they were a chameleon. I saw your in N. California. What city/ town are you in? i studied at CSUC in Chico, CA for 4 years. I loved being away from the city, and being closer to nature while living out there.

Yes i am misting atleast 4-5 times a day. I also add ice cubes to the top that act as rain when i am going to be out longer. She loves the ice cubes, and when im home, i acually enjoy the sound of the drops falling and hitting the plants. Will be on the hunt for a mister soon

Let me make a suggestion..... Mistking.... They are amazing!!!!

thats a nice set up. i find thats its alot cheaper to make ur own and not buy em. i have a 48x48x48 i have no idead how much a profesionall cage would cost at that size but i know its easily over 150. i did mine for 35 bought everything at lowes and built it an afternoon. actually had enough wood leftover to make a second smaller one for when he has to come inside. the other one stays outside.

People are against them because when your chameleon moves away to cool down he's getting no UVB where he's moved to witch isn't a good thing
