First cage build

Yet another post from me this week! So Im going to try and build my own screen cage, Im wondering it its possible to get a screen door/window screen kit or pieces and build a tank that way? We dont have a home depot or anything like that here where I live, so if I cant find the stuff at a local hardware store I was thinking about putting a local ad up for free broken or otherwise no longer needed window screens. Does anyone know of any reason this wouldnt work? Im looking at 32"X16"x30" Im concerned that it would be to weak if I just made the frame without support bars. Ill attach a probably unnecessary pro picture I did in paint, Ive never built anything so I thought Id make myself a model, also drawing screen is tedious, I gave up. Any building tips would be much appreciated.

You could use either 1x1" white pine or screen frame. The only problem with the screen frame is that you would need a whole bunch of corner pieces. It looks like maybe 30 or more corners so you would need about 8 regular frames to get enough corners. I'm building one of screen framing and personally I think I would use wood if I ever build another one. Good Luck. Let's see pictures as you build.

Doesn't look to hard I guess but price is suddenly an issue. Here in town they sell the metal frame for $14 you can get four 36" pieces with rubber tubing and 4 corner pieces. Im looking at needing 12-32" 9-30" 4-25" 16-16" and 2 5" thats 33-36" and with 4 in a package thats 9 packages thats like $126? That gives me like 36 corner pieces too. Second part, do I need the bar across the sides? does that give it any support or is it just extra? Ill highlight in red which bars Im talking about. If I cut those out that takes down the price, but will it be to flimsy due to its size?
