So got a call from the wife that Laila is digging She is right on schedule to lay her retained clutch so we will dig them up tonight and see how we did. The first clutch is almost at the three month mark and all still looking GREAT.

So as a quick update from earlier she laid a perfect clutch of 29 eggs this time she also acted like she knew what she was doing. Dug a hole...laid 29 eggs...filled in the hole. Unlike her first clutch that she dug a hole...laid eggs all over the place and filled in the hole lol.

I think you need a sign for your home that says "faly factory" that would have the neighbors wondering. When those all start hatching you will need vacation time just to be home to feed and care for babies. Excellent job.

Thanks Laurie! Faly factory wasn't what I was going for but kind of looks that way doesn't it LOL. I own my own business so vacation time doesn't exist but between my wife and I one of us is home 5 days a week so the babies should be good

And on the same day the second to last egg from my first clutch hatched
