Its crazy he will be like brawn and ugly when he is up in the tree but right when i put I'm in my hands he changes to the most beautiful colors!! Then he will run away from me and head straight for my kids and just sit on their heads! He loves my kids!!! lol

Hi! I am a sixth grade teacher and my chameleon Steve (named by the kids of course) lives in our classroom. The students take care of all the care jobs: bugs, misting, temperature checking, etc. We also have a free range (I still new to load pictures!) and a big mesh cage. Its been great having Steve in our room. It has really encouraged research, animal compassion, special skills, and more. They love Steve!

Does your chameleon live in your classroom? What do you teach? :)

I can't say this enough - you teachers are doing such an awesome thing inspiring kids by taking your chams to school with you. The responsibility and caring that you are fostering in your students is amazing to say the least. Kudos to all of you! :D

I teach a 3rd 4th grade mixed class. My kids hand feed him and hand mist him. We don't have a cage just free range so we can't really controls humidity but we watch the temps. The love him!!!! :)
