Congratulations!! I am patiently waiting on eggs to hatch as well and can't tell you how excited I will be when the first little one pokes its head out!! Keep us posted and best of luck :)

you need a clear side profile picture with the tail sticking straight out for sexing your little guy/girl. Have the baby crawl out on a small stick or dowel rod and take the picture that way. Congrats!

Thanks guys I was sooo excited when I woke up and one had hatched still no others tho does anyone know when I might expect the others to hatch?? I will try and get a side pic I dont like opening it because of the fruit flies flies lol

Congrats! Try putting a piece of ripe fruit in the cage and most of the ff will hang out around that instead of escaping.

I've put some blueberries and grapes in there for the flies do you know when I might expect some more to hatch??

Leave the empty eggshell in with the unhatched. I have read that the movement from hatchlings and possible hormones released, encourage the others to hatch. Emphasis on possible. No clearcut definitive study that i am aware of, just always recommended.
