My panther is sheadding for the first time. cool too see the orange and blue comming in but he doesnt seem like he wants to eat. Is it normal for them not to move or eat much while this is going on?

My chams lose their appetite a few days before a shed. I have 1 that eats his own shed (which is perfectly ok) but its a bit freaky to see. 
Mine do move around as they use their branches and vines to help get it off. Just keep giving him good, long mistings and he should be fine. Watch for any problem areas (like tip of tail, around eyes or around ankles/feet) to make sure its all off and doesnt cut off any circulation.
