First shedding experience!

Clyde shed for the first time today since I got him a week ago. I checked on him before leaving the house for a bit, got home 2 hours later, and he was well into the process. It's been 7 hours since then, and he's about 75% done with the process. He was very active all day, trying to scratch the skin off the sides of his body.

I posted a couple pictures below of him at the beginning of the shedding ...but my question is, should I let him completely shed his own skin, or should I help him if it hasn't all shed by tomorrow night? I have heard different things about it and don't want to help him if it hurts him. Also, is it difficult for chameleons to sleep when they have not finished shedding?

More pics to follow tomorrow.

You're doing great and so is he.
The only real thing you can do is give more mistings.
If it takes till the next day to finish, so be it.

Just don't pull any of it as you can harm him.
