Chameleon Info:
Cage Info:
- Your Chameleon - Veiled Chameleon, Female, I think a few weeks old not sure, i have had her for 1 day
- Handling - Have not handled her at all. She is still getting used to enclosure
- Feeding - Feeding her Crickets and dandelions, she ate 3 crickets today and chewed on some dandelions, feed her this morning, gutloading is fluckers orange cubes.
- Supplements - Fluckers vitamin d calcium
- Watering - I am doing the manual misting every few hours. And I mist for a few mins each time. I havent visually seen her licking anything yet.
- Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? She was tested by the place I got her. And havent seen her poop yet
- History - she just got most of her skin pealed off. Only have had her for a day. She is very active and hunts for her crickets
Cage Info:
- Cage Type -Reptibreeze all mesh cage 16x16x30
- Lightig - zoo.med 5.0 reptisun uvb and 60w daylight blue and I turn it on at 8am and off at 8PM
- Temperature - From the floor to basking spot is around 73f and the lowest it gets over night is around 60f I have a digital them to measure temps
- Humidity - I'm having troubles with the humidity, I mist her and the cage every few hours.
- Plants - I have no live plants all fake except for the moss and one of the vines is real. Currently building it more. Need help with this
- Placement - The cage is in my bedroom. There are no vents or fans that are on regularly. And it isnt a high traffic area. The cage is sitting on top of a dresser prob 5 feet from the floor
- Location - I am located a hour north of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.
- She is currently climbing to the top of her cage. I am going today to get more plants and a feeding bowl for her enclosure. I have read a ton of stuff and watched a bunch of videos. She is my first ever reptile and I want to make sure I'm doing this correctly to give her the best life that I am able too.
