Fixture/strip for 48" Reptisun?

I bought a 48" Reptisun since I am adding a second 175 Reptarium and I thought I could just use it over both and get rid of my old 20" fixture.

And I thought I could just pop down to Home Depo and pick up a cheap plugin fixture/strip for the bulb. But this is a T8 36W bulb and the only ones they (or Lowes) have are rated only 32W.The HD guy says I can't use those.

Seems a strange problem as I did not really think anyone would use the hideously expensive petstore fixtures.....

Where did you all get one since it is such a common Cham bulb?

I use the ones from Lowe's and the one's from Walmart haven't had any problems I use the shop light that takes 2 tubes the other one I use for the 6500 light out put for my plants.

The wattage isn't really important, just make sure it will fit the t8 bulb. I buy mine from home depot or lowes, and I just get the cheapest fixture... I think they are around $15

Walmart has them for $9.99. I have however, found that they last about 3 years, but for that price you can replace them! :)

Using a different watt bulb than the fixture was designed affects the ballast life but I haven't experienced any problems.
