so i never go on vacation out of state, barely ever. and my boyfriend has family in florida and we really wanted to come down for christmas, but cant because of our hectic school and work schedules...but! we have decided if we get a fair amount back from our tax refund, that is what we will be doing. also, his family is near tampa! so if we do end up going sometime in february or march, does anyone wanna meet up and go herping?? :3 also...id really like to find that colony of chameleons down there and photograph them...i know everyone is secret and hush hush about it because they dont want people taking from the colony..but i just wanna take pictures, so if anyone would like to help me out, that would be appreciated! any other must sees while we're down there??

If you're coming down the West Coast, then you need to visit Sanibel and Captiva for a day. They are 2 beautiful islands where you can take a ton of pics, and the shopping and restaurants are pretty good as well.

Good idea! I've never been to either, but I have always wanted to go to Sanibel. I hear it is gorgeous, and that they have TONS of shells on the their beaches. One of my childhood friends used to go to Captiva every year and she loved it!

anyone know where the wild chams are in fort myers? they can blindfold me till we get there! i just wanna take pictures people are soo rude and greedy..so far everyone i have contacted about it want a couple hundred dollars worth of something, whether it be a pair of panthers or money...just for pictures...really? its not like i can share with the world where they are at because ill have no idea where ill be at anyways! ill buy whoever helps me lunch :3
