New veiled has bumps on his side / burrowing questions (with tons of photos!)

I know I’ve asked it before…maybe even a couple of times, but are you certain that the bugs are small enough for him?

I mean, the roachies are smaller than my pinky fingernail. And I bite my nails, so those are pretty small. But the crickets vary in size; they're never the tiny ones, even when I order them.

Ah…testing my brain. I’m not able to recall at the moment what exactly causes those bumps, but I want to believe it is calcium deposits. Yes, it is from husbandry issues. Give me a minute and I’ll go over your info.
