Fluker's Orange Cubes

Hi, everyone,
My boyfriend and I just bought our first baby boy veiled chameleon, Goonie, two months ago. He mainly eats crickets, so we bought some Fluker's orange cubes for the crickets. We wanted to make sure he would get enough nutrients, so we were hoping this would be the best choice for cricket food. Two weeks ago I made the mistake of dusting a few crickets with calcium powder in addition to the orange cubes. He has had some white buildup around his nostrils ever since. It's not as bad now, but I'm afraid he's had too much calcium. Should we not dust him? Or is the Fluker's too much to feed the the crickets every day?

I would feed the crickets a gutload of vegetables like collard greens butternut squash and others and dust with Calcium without D3 daily

From everything I've read fresh greens and veggies are the best choice. https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/feeder-nutrition-gutloading.75/ is the go-to for feeder nutrition.

I also admit that feeding fresh food to bugs is sometimes a pain in the butt. If you'd rather use pre-made stuff then Repashy products are the way to go. Their bug burger is a good staple diet, and the superfood is for adding some extra nutrients right before feeding time. Joshsfrogs.com is a FANTASTIC place to buy feeder bugs online and they also sell repashy products. I think amazon has them, too.

Unfortunately, flukers isn't a good choice for passing nutrition along to chameleons.
