Flukers Repta boost?

So my 2 year old male nosy be panther chameleon has a infection in his jaw bone . The vet put him on antibiotics and his appetite has decreased alot.
So the vet gave us carnivore care to syringe feed him . But Im worried about the carnivore care Haveing to much animal protine !
So I ordered
( Repta boost insectivore care )
Formally known as
( Repta aid insectivore care )
Can someone please tell me if this is the best thing to feed him while he's recovering ?
If I got the right thing for him?

Do you feel your vet is not well trained in working with chameleons? If not its a valid question to those who have gone through the same jaw infection with their chameleons. Good luck, I hope your cham is already on the mend.

I really do actually !
They are the only vet clinic where I live that are considerd exotic vets. But they see dogs, cats , everything but they are not specialized in lizards / chameleons . Which really worries me. They do see alot of reptiles. All the pet shops use them as a vet for there reptiles . So they do have lost of experiance with herps . But it does worrie me that they don't specialize in them :(
