Flying Jacksons?

I'd say some sort of stress is making him jump so it is definitely an act of cruelty. I think I actually posted this one before.

To all the folks saying that Fischer's are jumpers, I totally agree, they are crazy. I was handling one yesterday and, even though he is like 5 months old, he still does the jump, tuck, grab the tail, and sommersault move. Here's the landing:

He's not showing particularly stressed colors. He seems to have the same patterning that they do just hanging around as opposed to the patterns they exhibit when they are stressed. More of an "I'm going over there now" kind of shade, or an "I see a bug and I'm going for it," but not stress for fear.

I'm guessing this is a large wild male Jackson, that's only goal is to flee the Charlie Brown tree, and get back into the safety of brush, or a tall tree.

I would agree with this.

Chams in fear of... whatever, will jump for safety. This cham must think he is in serious trouble.

that chameleon should go get a job as a stunt man!

P.S. wouldnt that break its bones or fracture them??? i mean thats a good 3-4 foot drop, wouldnt that hurt if u were a cham?
