flyless fruite flys?

has anyone given these to your panther? i have a 5 month old male.
was wondering how i go about giving them to him as he doesn' hand feed etc.
are these good for them or just a treat?

Yeah, I have a 5 month old panther as well. I stopped giving him those about a month ago... I figured that they are just to small and not really worth it. If you want to try it, I put them into a cup and would dust them then sprinkle them on the trees/leaves of the cage. Or you can leave them in the cup if your cham cup feeds... once they are dusted, they cant climb up the cup! If you leave them in the cup I would make sure you take them out before misting... just a couple drops of water in the bottom of the cup will drown them! good luck
 
Yeah, he's probably outgrown fruit flies. They're good for babies and up to about 3 months. Then they should be moving up to bigger prey.
 
Fruit flies are tiny...we use them for our mantellas and they are about as big as a nickel or a quarter. They would be way too small for your chameleon. He would have to eat tons. Not even worth it unless he was a newborn.
 
ok that settles that lol. thanks guys for educating me in yet another topic i was clueless about.
