Fogger- BIG fogger.. anyone DIY with success?

Getting tired of filling numerous foggers on a daily basis. There's commercial units out there, but with hefty price tags.
I've come across YouTube videos of various DIY units, I'm wondering if anyone here has tried any of them and found them to be worth your time and effort?

TIA

Ive had success with the "floater in a bucket" diy ones from houseofhydro. You could even upgrade to the "floater in a bucket with a fan". I have never tried pushing diy fog through a tube though.

Mind you need a $$$ controller too, they always leave that little tid bit out of the videos. Without it i guess you could just run a timer vs trying to control humidity.

That's where I have been looking .
I'm getting ready to reach out to them and see how big I need to go for a multiple cage setup.
I was planning on just using a timer and use the monitors in the enclosures to increase/decrease the run time.

Pretty sure its just going to be 1 disc. Even 1 disc is 30 watts of power lol. Thats good enough to vaporize a 2 litter bottle in 4 hours :)

If you are not going to buy the houseofhydro specially fans, you have a few choices.

You are going to want at least 2mm h2O pressure. I would check out the arctic P series. Else check out a radial fan as they are the pressure kings.

I hope I hope you're right. Those 1
2 disc models are not cheap.
I have about 15 cages to fog though.

I cant find my pics right now, but I have a 5 Gal bucket with fan and 3head fogger, it was on Ebay $76 I think. It will defiantly pump some fog.

I have a 10 head ultrasonic atomizer in a big watertight tub. I installed a computer fan with speed controller on the lid that blows air into the tub. I then drilled 2 holes that hold my PVC tubing that runs into a large enclosure. My entire house gets fogged. I open the door in the AM and it looks like Method Man, Redman, and I hot boxed the place.

😂

That sounds like what I need !!
Better too big than too small!
Did you use one of those Sterilite containers with the gasket?

you can see the tub at the bottom with the PVC tubing. The ultrasonic atomizers are pretty cheap on Amazon. Usually for ponds. I was able to buy the 10 head atomizer for $60 as an Amazon return. Ive seen from single heads up to 12 heads. You just have to figure out how to make them float to be able to use the bin to its full capacity.

Home Depot sells Husky brand tubs with gaskets. I believe I payed around $30 for it. Has 6 latches to keep the lid on secure. I used 2.5" PVC tubing.
