Fogger or mister for screen cage?

Hello everyone,
Which one is best for a screen cage?
Does the mister have the advantage that the cham may drink from there too?
If i use fogger and dripper, is this a better combo?

Does it all depend to what one needs or prefers?

Get a mistking or aquazap... Foggers are ok for humidity but thats it. If your worried about excess water lllreptile sell drip trays. Your cham will most likley drink more from a mister for sure

A lot will depend on how humid your cage stays. If you live in a dry area you may need both mister and fogger. The mister will create more water droplets the cham can drink from, but if the cage dries out very quickly in between misting periods a fogger can help. You can mist as usual, but set the fogger on a timer so it creates some humidity for the cage before the mister cycles again. This way you don't have to drown the cage with heavier water many times a day.

so you suggest a misting system along with the dripping system, i m gonna have reptile carpet on bottom. shall i put kitchen paper above the carpet until i figure out how the drainage is going to be?

What I suggest first, is to find out how humid your cage is after misting and how dry it gets before the next misting period begins. If the cage stays relatively humid you may not need the fogger. How do you measure the relative humidity in the cage now? If you don't measure it that's what you need to do. If misting your cage several times a day creates enough humidity for your cham to stay healthy that is all you really need to do.

I would think Patras would be rather humid. Do you know what humidity runs in your house? I live in AZ and have super low humidity and so I run both a humidifier in the room next to the cages and then have a mister system that I mist 5 times a day. I also use live plants to help with increasing humidity. I really think some sort of drainage system is a must! I get gallons of water off a week in my setup.

I havent really checked for the temperatures and humidity yet. im just welded the frame for the screen cage. As soon as i set up the enviroment for my pet i ll start checking on the gauges and post a whole new thread about the project i made. the house can get really humid at nights as far as i can feel from body stickness, but not real tells yet.
i hope i can manage it. im on the stage where im trying to find the appropriate screen/mesh so i can wrap the frame. the bottom and the back will be from wood. Is a normal window mesh going to last the crickets' invasion? or shall i get black aluminum mesh? iron mesh?
