Fogger---?

I have a ZooMed Reptifogger right now, but it is my third one in two weeks. So I need a good backup fogger system. So what do you guy's and gal's use for fogger systems in your cages?

you dont need a fogger unless your ambient humidity gets below 40% If it does, I would suggest and ultrasonic humidifier not a fogger, but even before I would suggest that, I would suggest you put a shower curtain on two sides of the cage and get more live plants.

I have two live plants and the fogger is set for 50 percent. I mist two times aday 1 min each the levels are good. Plus it gives him water to drink in between mistings ( it drips on a leaf ).

Hmm, well I suggest you try to shower curtain thing and see if that helps. No point in wasting money on a fogger when you could use a 5 dollar shower curtain that could work just as well. If that doesn't work, then do a search on humidifiers.

You can use a dripper to provide drinking water... what kind of cham?

It's a Panther and my third repifogger just went out like an hour ago. These things suck!

Hopefully you aren't paying more for new ones, and you are using the warranty to get a replacement.

Of course it works best with an ultrasonic humidifier. Get a refund on your fogger!

Wow! I have two reptifoggers and they do just fine. But then I never run them more than 10m/use and never full bore. I use them for my frogs and day gecko. But then I house them in exoterra vivs and mist both morning and evening, use distilled water so deposits don't build up in the reserviour, and wipe them out between fillings. Don't know what to say beyond that.

a lot of the failure in foggers or humidifiers has to do with the water.... how hard the water is... is the big factor....
