foliage plants?

Hi i am in the process of getting my set-ups up and running before i order 2 panther chameleons i already have two chams but am using artificial planting so i am new to getting real plants for chams. I had a look at a range of foliage plants today but they just said foilage plants on them with no name of the type of plant it isa which is pretty stupid really!! but are foliage plants ok for chams and if some are and some are not could anyone please list the ones i can use i will be very appreciative..thank you..

Pothos are all great, although someone said the ficus elastica is poisons
just be sure to wash all leafs and stems with a light dishsoap solution and then shower them off, and put THICK layer of ORGANIC soil ontop of existing soil. incase you lil guy is one of the many who like to eat dirt once in a while!

I get my plants from B&Q. They have Pothos (aka Devil's Ivy), Ficus (Weeping Fig) and Schefflera Arboricola (Umbrella plant) in various sizes. I have also bought Hibiscus from there too. I find that Ficus tend to drop their leaves rather too easily and Schefflera are much more hardy! Just make sure to either re-pot the plants in organic soil/compost and/or cover the soil with large pebbles so your chams can't eat the soil. Steer clear of Schefflera Actinophylla as it's poisonous! Also it's best to wash the leaves with soapy water and rinse thoroughly to remove pesticide residues before putting in the cage.

I have tried a few different plants. Schleffera (umbrella plant) is a good hardy one as long as it doesnt get over watered, pothos is a great one that can be hung near the top of the enclosure and will grow like a vine that you can move to where you want it (it requires very little light and is easy to keep alive. currently I am trying a hibiscus bush which is awesome because it flowers alot and chams (especially veileds) sometimes like to eat the flowers but it requires alot of sunlight and is tougher to keep it thriving (it helps if you have a separate light for plants, 6500k fluorescent is good) . Use the search to find a list of safe plants to use and poisoness plants to avoid.

Will be taking a trip to B&Q are the tall plants quite expensive to buy or are they a reasonable price (England)? thank you for your replys..

hehe i brought my chameleon with me and got my two plants that were suppose to be 49$ each both half off the people there loved him!
