food for females

I was not aware when I first got a female cham that a restricted diet was important for her health. I was under the impression that all young chams, male and female would not over eat and did indeed need quite a lot of good quality food because they were growing fast. Sorry if this has been explained else where on the forum but how soon (how young) should a restricted diet be used?

Cheers ^__^ So basically I did do everything right LOL. I just presumed that when Tilly had such a large clutch of eggs (60) at such a young age (5 months) that had miss understood somewhere along the line. She certainly does not seem to be any the worse for the ordeal now and I am guessing that it has not dirupted her growth in any way because she is shedding again at the moment. Papery skin is falling like snow.

I feed hatchlings as much as they will eat in a couple of minutes and then leave a couple of extra crickets in the cage for them to eat later....but I usually only feed them once a day.
