For those that have a 38g reptarium...

What size UVB bulb and fixture do you use? Also, I have read that the reptisun 10.0 is best for reptariums because of the thick mesh, but I've also read that too much UVB can harm a chameleon. Should I get the reptisun 10.0 or 5.0? Oh and one more question...I can't afford a misting system right now so I am going to hand mist a few times a day and use a dripper. Is zoomed's little dripper sufficient?

For my 38 gal reptariums I use 18" Reptisun 10.0's due to the dark mesh. I don't have a misting system either, and I don't drip. I simply mist real well 3X daily and everyone does great! For babies that hang off the roof of the cage, raise your UVB about 3-4" off of the top to prevent any issues.

Thanks! She doesn't have a dripper or misting system at Petco obviously and she seems to be doing well, but she won't ever drink when I mist her cage. I just want to make sure she is healthy and comfortable in her new home.

You could use the little dripper. I have one of these cages. I use it for Juvies. I also used the 18" 10.0 Reptisun. I also used a 60w ZooMed daytime lamp.
