He's looking good! Nice to see more Jackson owners . I love panthers and veilds and everyone on this forum in general but it's rare to see a jackson owner, at least for me. Did you have yours shipped? I personally have gotten both of mine locally here in Hawaii.

So looks like my little friend got a temporal gland infection (on his left side). I drove him to the vet right away when I've noticed the swelling and he prescribed some antibiotics and 3 different things for cleaning the side of his mouth.
Oh and right there when I've waited with him sitting on my hand he took a big poop right on my hand. So the vet also made a fecal and there were no parasites to see.

I really hope he gets well

I don't know what brand or type the meds are. But this is the only vet in our country for exotic animals so I hope he knows what he's doing He also owned a Jackson chameleon a few years ago and is really good with animals.

Yeah I didn't know about the temporal gland until I noticed a small swelling on his cheek and did my homework and Googled what it could be...

I haven't been active here lately (shame on me)

So just to update on his condition...
The swelling of his cheek went away after 10days of antibiotics and he's like brand new out of the box I've also taken a few new pictures of him climbing on a tree and enjoying in the sun ( I needed a ladder in the end lol )

Yeah he is really awesome Before I got him I watched some videos of Veiled chams and they're hissing, biting, etc. They really look unfriendly and I'm so happy that my Xanth isn't like that

Maybe a piece of a cricket leg or a fly wing got stuck in there in that cheek "pocket".
