From Russia with love

I've never seen one of those in real life.

Yeah, I had to buy one to see it in real life for first time. It was a funny feeling when I saw a few at another keepers house a couple years later. Really weird seeing babies for sale at a Pomona show, I think back in 2007.

Those are Parsons chameleons, very few people keep them as they are very expensive and not easy to come by.
Steve I think it is awesome that you actually have captive hatched parsons. Now we just need you to get to work and breed yours.:D I know you had not thought of that right?

Parsons are simply unique!! every time i see them i fall in love!!! :D
Do you know the sex of these 3 animals? how many do you have now? If i can ask.. ;)

I miss mine. I had 14 prior to 1994. The hardest thing to grasp from the photos is the actual size of Parsoni.. they are HUGE compared to other chameleons. Back legs as big around as my thumb!
The weight of them is amazing also.

I also had oustaleti , the longest chameleon, and yet the parsoni dwarfed the oustaleti. The biggest chameleons I ever had were the yellow lipped parsoni they are truely massive.
