frost ate his first gecko!!

Happens all the time in nature, might want to take him to the vet. Good luck.

it was exciting! well im taking him to the vet next week anyways.. for his usual check up

I bought 5 House Geckos at the Super Show....A little honey mustard and some relish on a few and the Chams went wild.....lol Dragons had fun with 2 of them also.......

Was this a captive bred gecko... or one you caught? There is a vid around somewhere of a panther enjoying an anole... I can't seem to find the thread though...

remember.... "That's a BAD Lizard!!!":D:D:Dlol

i bet.. they move around alot so it attracts alot of attention! im just trying to give my chameleon a variety.. and they run across everything in the wild .. but im glad he liked it

Geckos are bred as feeders all the time... I wouldn't mind trying a few with my chams sometime. I'm sure they would love them.

wow that bad lizard video is too funny! i was cracking up! and i bought the lizard from a reptile store and they said they Captive Breed.. so im pretty sure ill take there word.. its the store i go to all the time.. but that video is classic

oh ya everyone ill be in san diego next weekend! and ill be driving through LA area sunday if anyone have anything to sell .. like feeders, or misting accessories.. purchased a new veiled from lancecham! im stoked to meet my new little fellow

haha and how much did the gecko cost you ? probably 2 $ or so. and it was probably an animal just called "house gecko", right ?

Yeah that was one of the cutest and heart breaking things I've ever seen or heard.

Like has been said, it's perfectly natural for them to eat small lizards in the wild. There is a vid floating around of a Chamaeleo namaquensis eating a smaller cham. Just don't feed it too often. I think once a week was the acceptable consensus.

ya i paid 3 dollars just for one... and ya it was called house geckos.......and i dont plan feeding him lizards regularly.. i just thought it would be a nice treat for him.. ill keep eye on him ... he's going to the vet for his check up next week anyways.. his usual check up!
