Fruit Fly preference

Hi,
I will hopefully have baby Panthers hatching in the next few months and was wondering what is the better option between melanogaster vs hydei. Or does it matter?

Hydei are the bigger of the two and baby panthers can easily handle them. This would be the better of the two because of the size.

That and they will be up to blue bottles in less than 3 weeks.

Flightless, Golden, D. hydei are my personal preference. The melangaster are just smaller. They will work, but the bigger flies will work right away and for a month or so.
